Universal circuit breaker is a commonly used switching device with characteristics such as compact structure, good insulation performance, good conductivity, and strong function. It is used as a main switch in industrial and mining enterprises as well as substations, playing a role in protection and control.
When using a universal circuit breaker, the following points should be noted:
1. Before installing the universal circuit breaker, it is necessary to check whether the nameplate data on the circuit breaker meets the design and usage requirements, and whether the operating environment requirements specified in the universal user manual are consistent with the actual environment, to ensure that the universal circuit breaker installed and used can be used normally.
2. When installing a drawer type universal circuit breaker, be careful not to leave objects inside the drawer seat to avoid internal damage after the universal circuit breaker is put into operation.
3. It should be ensured that the universal circuit breaker is firmly and reliably fixed. It should be installed vertically and fastened with bare bolts. The installation holes should have corresponding flat washers and circular washers to prevent the product from loosening.
4. If any abnormal noise or other abnormal phenomena are found during the operation of the universal circuit breaker, its operation should be stopped, the cause of the fault should be identified, and it can only be put into operation after the fault is eliminated. It is important to note that non professionals should not disassemble the universal circuit breaker blindly without authorization, in order to avoid further damage to the product and even personal safety hazards.
5. The temperature of the installation environment has a certain impact on the operation of the universal circuit breaker. Generally, the upper limit of the temperature of the universal circuit breaker does not exceed+40 ℃, the lower limit is not less than -5 ℃, and the average value within 24 hours does not exceed+35 ℃. Exceeding this standard will affect the electrical and mechanical performance of the universal circuit breaker. During the operation of the universal circuit breaker, local faults may occur, affecting its normal use. Therefore, relevant personnel need to pay attention to the temperature changes in the installation environment of the universal circuit breaker, control it within an appropriate temperature range, and also consider the occasional condensation problem on the surface due to temperature changes, and take corresponding measures to handle it to ensure the reliability of the operation of the universal circuit breaker.
6. Regular maintenance work should be carried out on the universal circuit breaker. Through the maintenance process, problems with the circuit breaker should be identified and corresponding measures should be taken to ensure its reliability.
7. During the maintenance process, the replaced parts must match the specifications, sizes, types, etc. of the parts before replacement to ensure that the circuit breaker can be used normally.
8. During inspection, it is necessary to check the appearance and instrument display of the universal circuit breaker for the presence of a large amount of dust and whether the display is normal. In addition, attention should be paid to whether there is any special noise or odor. If special noise is found in the trip coil, the working surface should be wiped clean with rust proof oil and reapplied with clean rust proof oil.
9. Attention should be paid to the lubrication of the operating universal circuit breaker. The internal cleaning of the universal circuit breaker and the regular injection of lubricating oil into each rotating part should be carried out. The lubricating oil used must meet local environmental requirements.
10. Pay attention to the hygiene of the installation environment of the universal circuit breaker, regularly clean the surrounding environment of the universal circuit breaker, and eliminate factors that are not conducive to the normal operation of the universal circuit breaker, such as dust, moisture, harmful media, etc.
