Noise Factors in AC Contactors

It is normal for AC contactors to emit noise during operation, which is due to the limitations of the process technology of all domestic AC contactor manufacturers. At present, there is no manufacturer of AC contactors that can fully achieve the technology of operating AC contactors without noise. However, there are some AC contactors that emit noise much higher than normal during operation. So what is the reason for this situation? Let's take a look together.
Generally speaking, the reason for the appearance of loud noise in AC contactors is due to the accumulation of a large amount of gray or oil deposits on the electromagnetic core and suction iron inside the contactor. This will cause friction and slipping of the AC contactor during operation, resulting in significant noise. At this point, we only need to disassemble the AC contactor to clean the dust and oil stains, and finally make sure to tighten the nut.
Another situation is that the loud noise emitted by the breaking of the components on the suction armature of the AC contactor is due to the short circuit ring installed on the armature, which reduces the vibration between the dynamic and static contacts. Therefore, when the short circuit ring inside the AC contactor breaks, it cannot suppress the vibration between the contacts, resulting in significant noise. At this time, it only needs to be replaced with a new short circuit ring!
