The use of circuit breakers also requires strengthened maintenance to prevent malfunction and leakage. After all, although electricity is an indispensable companion in people's lives, it is also dangerous!
1. It is necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the circuit breaker and keep the air dry during use. Otherwise, it may result in the following consequences: damaging the insulation between the broken ends of the main contact, making it difficult to arc or reigniting the arc, and in severe cases, causing the arc extinguishing chamber to explode; Reduce the insulation strength of the supporting porcelain bottle and the inner cavity of the arc extinguishing chamber, causing surface discharge; Foreign objects such as paint and rust residue in the pipeline may block the air outlet, causing the main circuit breaker to malfunction and resulting in jamming; If foreign objects enter the arc extinguishing chamber, it may cause poor contact of the main contact, causing the nonlinear resistance to burn out due to long-term electrification, and in severe cases, it may cause the nonlinear resistance porcelain bottle to explode.
2. Regularly replace rubber parts. The main circuit breaker is a complex pneumatic electrical device with high sealing performance requirements for each component. To ensure good sealing performance, rubber parts should be replaced regularly.
3. Regularly inspect all major components. Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure that all major components are in good technical condition.
4. Remove carbides or metal particles from the arc extinguishing cover. If the arc extinguishing cover is broken, it should be replaced. When checking for small metal particles on the surface of the main contact, they should be removed, but cannot be filed and can only be gently wiped.
5. The movable part of the circuit breaker (automatic air switch) and the parts of the arc extinguishing chamber should have no jamming phenomenon during the closing and opening process. When special noise is found in the iron core during use, its working surface should be cleaned, and lubricating oil should be injected into each transmission mechanism.
