2. The low oil circuit breaker uses less oil, has a small and sturdy oil tank structure, and has the characteristics of material saving, explosion prevention, and fire prevention. The safe use of low oil circuit breakers greatly simplifies the distribution equipment, has a small volume, is easy to transport, and is currently widely used.
3. Air circuit breakers have high circuit breaking capacity, fast action time, small size, light weight, and no fire hazard. However, they are complex in structure, expensive in price, and require the installation of compressed air systems. They are mainly used in systems with high requirements for electrical parameters and circuit breaking time at 110KV and above.
4. SF6 has good electrical performance and can withstand high fracture voltage. The operation, maintenance, and repair of the equipment are very convenient, with a long maintenance cycle and good breaking performance. It occupies a small area, and the development of SF6 enclosed combination electrical appliances can greatly reduce the footprint of substations. SF6 circuit breakers were widely used in the 1990s, and China has successfully produced and developed SF6 circuit breakers for 220, 330, and 500KV.
